I am Fremen.
I am made pure by the desert
I am called pirate of the sands
I am at the mercy of the desert, and Shai-Hulud
By the desert, I am tested to be faithful

I am Fremen.
I am property of my tribe, and my tribe is property of the desert
I am master only of my flesh
My water serves my tribe, for I am bound by water oath

I am Fremen.
I am faithful of Mahdi, for he will come
I trust only my tribe, my mind, and my knife
I break the rhythm of my steps upon the sand
I scorn the sun and I romance the moons

I am Fremen.
I am never at home, only at residence in the sietch
I bless the Maker
I kill the Harkonnens
I ride upon the back of the Maker

I am Fremen.
